We dream of a Queer Utopia - a possibility of a better, happier, and more liberated future for us all. Yet the world feels more fragile and uncertain than ever. SapfoFest’26 invites us to pause amid this constant motion forward, to take a breath of summer air, and, for a moment, shift our focus to the present: to our everyday material lives, our immediate environment, and those around us. Let’s together explore queer living as Resistance, as Knowledge, and as Joy.

In the past three years (2022–2024), it has cost around 8,000 EUR to organize the festival. In order for the festival to run as smoothly this year as before, it is crucial that you contribute whatever amount you can.

Support Sapfo

The funds will go towards fixing and updating the infrastructure, renting a sound system, and partially covering catering and travel expenses for program lecturers, performers, and workshop leaders.

Volunteering

We are so happy to invite you to join our volunteer team! Everyone is invited to give a hand with the organisation and production, to witness the festival inside out and contribute to the community in building Queer Utopia.
